Editing a Booking
Plans change. Here is how to update a booking that has already been created.
Open the booking
Go to Dashboard > Bookings and click on the booking you want to change.
Click Edit
Click the Edit button to enter edit mode. You can change the dates, unit, number of guests, or notes.
Change dates
Adjust the booking, stay, reservation, or tenancy start or end date. LodgeKit will recalculate the total price and check that the unit is still available for the new dates.
Change unit
If you need to move the guest to a different unit, select a new unit from the dropdown. Only units available for the booking dates are shown.
Save changes
Click Save to apply your changes. The audit trail records what was changed and when.
You can only edit bookings that have not ended. Once a booking, stay, reservation, or tenancy has ended, the dates and unit cannot be changed.
Cancelling a Booking
To cancel a booking, stay, reservation, or tenancy, open it and click the Cancel button. You will be asked to confirm. Cancelling releases the unit, site, room, apartment, property, or bed for other bookings and voids unpaid linked invoices in the same scoped cancellation flow. Paid or partially paid records should be reviewed from the invoice or payment screens so staff can decide whether a refund, retained deposit, or adjustment is needed.
